Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Mathas, Fiend Seeker to introduce political bounty incentives while developing a token-based aristocrats board. The game plan focuses on accumulating tokens through repeatable engines like Assemble the Legion and Felidar Retreat, capitalizing on creature deaths via Bastion of Remembrance and Judith, the Scourge Diva. Mana ramp is anchored by low-cost talismans and artifacts, while the removal suite features efficient multi-target answers and sweepers like Ruinous Ultimatum. Because it avoids infinite combos and hyper-dense tutors, the deck operates as a classic mid-power battlecruiser strategy, closing games through wide combat swings and incremental life drain.
