Deck overview

This Dimir Faerie Flash deck leverages Obyra, Dreaming Duelist to turn a classic draw-go control shell into a lethal attrition clock. By playing almost entirely at instant speed, the deck keeps mana open to react with efficient counterspells like Spellstutter Sprite or flash in flying threats right before untapping. Engines like Alela, Cunning Conqueror, Slitherwisp, and Nymris, Oona's Trickster generate continuous card advantage and flying tokens on opponents' turns. Each Faerie that enters the battlefield drains every opponent for 1 life via Obyra, steadily eroding life totals while evading ground blockers. High-impact cards such as Notorious Throng and Door of Destinies convert this wide evasive presence into decisive combat finishes, while asymmetric floodgates like Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Opposition Agent lock down opposing counterplay.
