Deck overview

This mono-red tribal deck leverages Lathliss, Dragon Queen to turn every nontoken Dragon into double flying threats. The deck utilizes low-cost mana rocks, specialized Dragon cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman, and explosive red rituals to deploy its 6-mana commander ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Lathliss is established, casting mid-sized Dragons floods the skies with 5/5 tokens, triggering direct-damage effects from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas. Damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation and additional combat steps from Scourge of the Throne convert board presence into rapid eliminations. Efficient redirection spells protect key threats from targeted disruption, though the deck remains susceptible to mass sweepers.
