Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Hatebear Enchantress build helmed by Myrkul, Lord of Bones. It blends dense 1-2 CMC mana acceleration with oppressive stax pieces, card-drawing enchantresses, and reanimation engines. In the early turns, it deploys mana dorks and taxing hatebears like Rule of Law, Collector Ouphe, and Stony Silence to stall fast combo decks and artifact mana. As the midgame develops, Myrkul, Lord of Bones turns sacrificed or destroyed hatebears and utility creatures into non-creature enchantment tokens, making the lock pieces immune to traditional creature board wipes. The deck leverages high-impact tutors and cheat enablers like Pattern of Rebirth, Defense of the Heart, and Survival of the Fittest to bypass casting restrictions and drop game-ending payoffs such as Moonshaker Cavalry, Hallowed Haunting, or Kokusho, the Evening Star. With redundant protection from Silence, Sterling Grove, and Flare of Fortitude, it steadily crushes the table under asymmetric attrition and overwhelming combat damage.
