Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker is a Mardu Treasure-combat deck. The primary plan is to generate many Treasure tokens, animate them with Vihaan's beginning-of-combat ability, and attack with a hasty army of Construct Assassin tokens. Secondary paths include artifact-count alternate wins via Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, or Knuckles the Echidna, plus drain/trigger payoffs like Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, and Marionette Master. The commander is the central engine: without Vihaan, Treasures are mostly inert mana, though the deck can still win through artifact count or chip damage. No double-faced or hidden commander is present; Prosper, Tome-Bound and Fable of the Mirror-Breaker are value supports. Careful sequencing of attack triggers and Treasure generation lets each combat double into the next.
