Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai deck, helmed by Glarb, Calamity's Augur, is a high-curve value engine that leverages top-deck manipulation and graveyard recursion to deploy massive threats. The commander's ability to cast spells with mana value 4 or greater from the top of the library provides consistent access to the deck's heavy hitters, while the surveil ability helps fill the graveyard. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from giant creatures like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant and Apex Altisaur, supported by reanimation spells and recursive engines such as Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Muldrotha, the Gravetide. Secondary win conditions include draining opponents with Syr Konrad, the Grim and Underworld Dreams, or milling with The Water Crystal. The deck forgoes infinite combos in favor of incremental value and board presence.
