Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Boros Equipment Voltron strategy helmed by Cloud, Planet's Champion. The game plan revolves around accelerating into Cloud on Turn 4 and attaching high-impact Equipment at a steep discount. On your turn, an equipped Cloud gains double strike and indestructible, enabling fast commander-damage eliminations while doubling combat triggers from cards like Buster Sword and Mask of Memory. The deck features an expansive tutor package for artifacts and legends, ensuring reliable access to utility pieces, evasion, and protection like Robe of Stars and Swiftfoot Boots. Sunforger serves as a central toolbox engine, casting removal or protection spells straight from the library. As a compact backup win condition, the deck includes Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host to generate infinite combat phases and close games immediately if combat stalls.
