Deck overview

Built around Smaug the Impenetrable, this deck converts noncombat damage into a Treasure economy, then uses that economy to fuel burn, artifact-drain payoffs, and Dragon-trigger finishers. The primary plan is to cast Smaug early, ping him with Cut Propulsion, Self-Destruct, Pestilence, or Pyrohemia, and snowball Treasures into a decisive Wrathful Red Dragon + Star of Extinction activation, or an alternate win from Hellkite Tyrant or Revel in Riches. Smaug's indestructible, hasty 8/7 body also gives a secondary beatdown line through Rogue's Passage. No double-faced commander exists here; the deck is built around the damage-to-Treasure engine, while Smaug, Wicked Worm and Goldspan Dragon provide independent Treasure generation when Smaug is unavailable.
