Deck overview

Anzrag is a Gruul beatdown deck that wants to turn its 8/4 god sideways and turn every block into a fresh combat. The primary plan is to ramp to four or five mana, resolve Anzrag, and pair it with trample/double-strike effects; Scourge of the Throne serves as a second extra-combat engine. Secondary paths lean on Garruk/Vivien card advantage, Unnatural Growth doubling, and Kona/Omnath flooding the board. Anzrag's activated ability is a clock only when opponents have defensible boards; against empty boards the deck relies on Scourge or pump spells to close. There is no hidden commander beyond Scourge, and the deck has no deterministic combo line.
