Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Shredder, Shadow Master to execute an aggressive combat-aristocrats strategy. Shredder creates token copies of itself when attacking, applying immediate pressure across all three opponents. When these 5/5 creatures connect, they halve each opponent's life total, dropping standard starting totals to 17 in a single combat. At the end of combat, the token copies are sacrificed, triggering aristocrat engines like Blood Artist, Ayara, and Grave Pact to drain opponents and clear opposing creature boards. A dense package of evasion and protection equipment, including Commander's Plate, Brotherhood Regalia, and Lightning Greaves, ensures Shredder connects reliably. If the commander is removed, cheap reanimation spells restore it quickly. The deck also includes an independent two-card infinite combo featuring Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, providing a direct finish without relying on combat.
