Deck overview

This is a Mardu reanimator midrange deck helmed by Celes, Rune Knight. The plan is to fill the graveyard quickly, reanimate high-impact creatures, and convert every graveyard-to-battlefield entry into a board-wide +1/+1 counter storm via Celes. The resulting modified army wins through combat, amplified by extra-combat payoffs (Aurelia, the Warleader, Akki Battle Squad) and evasion (Abzan Falconer). Secondary axes include mass reanimation swings with Living Death, value drains from Syr Konrad, the Grim, and sacrifice outlets (Ashnod's Altar, Altar of Dementia) that turn recursive bodies into mana or mills. Celes is a cheap command-zone loot engine and the deck's primary force-multiplier; the 99 still functions as a conventional reanimator suite without her, but loses the explosive pump that closes games.
