Ureni - Dragon Horde deck by Sprinkling

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Temur Dragon-tribal deck is built around Ureni of the Unwritten, a repeatable battlefield-tutor engine that cheats Dragons onto the battlefield from the top of the library on entry and attack. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively into Ureni, then chain high-impact Dragon after Dragon, overwhelming opponents with flying, trample, haste, and massive combat damage. The deck leans heavily on the commander's velocity - each Ureni trigger puts a new Dragon into play, and attack triggers feed further free spells, extra combats, and incremental burn from Dragon Tempest or Scourge of the Throne. Secondary pathways include mass-burn finishes via Chandra's Ignition on a pumped Dragon, and value generation through cards like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm (copying nonlegendary Dragons) and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient (post-combat mana). Protection and interaction are light but functional, using a handful of counterspells and Deflecting Swat to protect key turns.
