Deck overview

This Golgari deck combines Dragon tribal power with high-velocity reanimation and burst card draw. Led by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Acolyte of Bahamut, the strategy cheats massive Elder Dragons into the graveyard before reviving them well ahead of curve. Early turns focus on mana ramp and self-mill through cards like Entomb, Hermit Druid, and Buried Alive. Low-cost reanimation spells, including Reanimate and Animate Dead, return game-ending threats like Hoarding Broodlord, Ancient Brass Dragon, and Old Gnawbone directly to the battlefield. Once a high-power Dragon is active, Shadowheart sacrifices it to refill your hand with five to seven fresh cards, which you can easily reanimate again. The deck converts card advantage and flying board presence into a decisive victory using mass reanimation like Living Death or combat finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Finale of Devastation.
