Deck overview

This deck is a Simic landfall ramp and engine deck helmed by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The primary game plan is to accelerate land drops rapidly using extra-land effects and low-cost ramp spells, converting those lands into overwhelming card advantage once Aesi hits the board. The deck wins by generating massive, lethal token armies with landfall threats like Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, and Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer, often magnified through burst effects such as Scapeshift or Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. Alternatively, it can execute an infinite landfall combo using Retreat to Coralhelm, Sakura-Tribe Scout, and Oboro, Palace in the Clouds to draw the entire library.
