Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color toolbox aggro-combo build piloted by Scion of the Ur-Dragon. The primary strategy accelerates into Scion using efficient 1-2 CMC mana dorks and rocks. Once on the battlefield, Scion's activated ability acts as an uncounterable direct-to-graveyard tutor that turns Scion into any Dragon in the deck at instant speed. Its fastest kill line stacks activations during combat to pump Scion with Moltensteel Dragon before resolving a copy of Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, eliminating an opponent in a single hit with 10 infect damage. Alternate lines use Ancient Copper Dragon for massive treasure ramp, Dragon Tempest and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm for dragon-burn scaling, and reanimation packages to cheat massive threats into play. Supported by card draw engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study and protected by cards like Dragonlord Dromoka and Silence, the deck presents lethal multi-turn pressure.
