Lands Belong in the Graveyard by user9074171

Format: Commander

Commander: Szarel, Genesis Shepherd

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Szarel, Genesis Shepherd leads a Jund land-sacrifice and +1/+1 counter engine. The primary plan is to accelerate land drops, sacrifice lands and other nontoken permanents for value, then replay those lands from the graveyard with Szarel, Conduit of Worlds, or Exploration Broodship. The commander is both a recursive land source and a repeatable counter pump, with his power growing as Ouroboroid and Halana/Alena distribute counters. Secondary paths include landfall burn and card flow from Tannuk and Tireless Provisioner, plus incidental drain from Korvold. The Gitrog Monster acts as a pseudo-commander, making sacrificed lands replace themselves.
