Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Mono-White control and attrition build centered on the classic interaction between Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and vintage anti-Swamp enchantments. By turning all lands into Swamps, cards like Karma, Royal Decree, and Stern Judge convert every opponent's mana base into a continuous source of passive damage. The deck breaks parity through damage-nullifying permanents such as Personal Sanctuary, Circle of Protection: White, and the commander Eight-and-a-Half-Tails, who can turn spells white and grant protection to your own permanents. A dense suite of pillowfort staples including Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, and Archon of Emeria stalls opponent aggression, while dedicated land tutors and enchantment search ensure consistent engine assembly. When the primary burn plan is contested, alternative lifegain win conditions like Felidar Sovereign and Angel token production from Court of Grace provide resilient backup victory routes.
