Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (non-green) Midrange and Polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan utilizes a dense suite of eleven 1–2 CMC mana rocks to deploy early token generators like Dreadhorde Invasion and Staff of the Storyteller, followed by casting Jace on turn 4. Jace's -3 loyalty ability immediately exiles a low-value token to cheat massive threats such as Archfiend of Despair, Slash, Reptile Rampager, Overlord of the Mistmoors, or Nissa, Leyline Tamer directly onto the battlefield. Once deployed, these high-end threats quickly multiply token production and inflict scaling burn or doubled life loss across the table, closing out the game by turn 7. The deck defends its planeswalkers with Jace's built-in combat tax, instant-speed protection like Flawless Maneuver and Grand Crescendo, and versatile creature sweepers like Martial Coup and Overwrite the Multiverse.
