Deck overview

This deck is a Bant token midrange strategy helmed by Brenard, Ginger Sculptor. It leverages Brenard's ability to turn dying nontoken creatures into 3/3 trampling Food Golems alongside classic token multipliers like Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Anointed Procession. The deck accelerates its mana in the opening turns using low-cost mana dorks and rocks, then establishes Brenard and supporting engines. Once a token doubler is online, threats like Myr Battlesphere, Hornet Queen, and The Notary Hobbits generate massive boards that overwhelm opponents in combat. Protection spells such as Heroic Intervention and countermagic shield key pieces from opposing removal. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos, its density of cloning effects and resilient death triggers allows it to grind out opponents through superior board presence and close games with combat anthems or Triumph of the Hordes.
