Deck overview

This Boros Voltron deck pairs Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to convert traditional single-target commander damage into an explosive, table-wide clock. Ardenn circumvents steep equip costs by freely attaching massive Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Nettlecyst at the beginning of combat. Meanwhile, Kediss mirrors all combat damage dealt by your commander to every other opponent, functionally tripling the offensive output. The list features an extensive Equipment tutor package with Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Open the Armory, ensuring consistent access to key stat buffs and damage doublers like Inquisitor's Flail and Duelist's Heritage. High-efficiency protection spells such as Deflecting Swat, Blacksmith's Skill, and Mithril Coat, combined with Sunforger's instant-speed utility toolbox, safeguard the commanders during critical attack windows. While vulnerable to early creature removal and lacking proactive stax pieces, the deck routinely threatens lethal table eliminations by Turn 4 to 5.
