Pig nuts by butt

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Niv-Mizzet, Parun leads a low-curve Izzet spellslinger shell that wants to reach six colored mana, resolve Niv, and convert every instant and sorcery into card draw and removal. The primary plan is the Curiosity/Ophidian Eye draw-ping loop, usually boosted by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph or Ojer Axonil so each ping ends three opponents. Secondary paths use Guttersnipe, Electrostatic Field, Fiery Inscription, and Veyran to burn through spells, with Birgi and Urabrask supplying mana. Ghyrson acts as a hidden sub-commander, turning each one-point trigger into three damage, while free countermagic keeps Niv on the battlefield.
