Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai morph and manifest midrange engine commanded by Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer. Kadena discounts the first face-down creature cast each turn by {3} and draws a card whenever a face-down creature enters the battlefield. Paired with flash enablers such as Skittering Cicada, Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter, and Leyline of Anticipation, the deck casts free 2/2 creatures and draws cards on every player's turn. Face-down cards double as hidden interaction, featuring stack disruption from Kheru Spellsnatcher, Kadena's Silencer, and Stratus Dancer, as well as removal via Ainok Survivalist. The deck ramps aggressively with Threats Around Every Corner and Enduring Vitality, rapidly amassing a wide creature army. It converts board presence into a decisive win through overwhelming combat overruns such as Beastmaster Ascension and Experiment Twelve, or locks down opposing creatures with Ixidron.
