Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian is the command-zone engine of a Bant +1/+1 counter deck that moves counters onto combatants and uses Cheer to draw and proliferate once combat damage lands. The primary plan is to build one or two modified attackers, grant them flying or double strike, and close via combat damage. A secondary path uses toxic poison and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus doubling every proliferate. The deck has no infinite combo; Tidus provides steady card advantage once a counter source is live. Tekuthal acts as an honorary hidden commander, drastically accelerating counter totals. The deck can still function if Tidus is not cast, but his Cheer trigger remains the smoothest way to turn counters into cards.
