Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Boros Spirits recursion deck helmed by Hofri Ghostforge, built around a death-trigger engine that turns every dying nontoken creature into a Spirit token copy, which then returns the original to the graveyard when it leaves. That loop feeds a dense "cards leave your graveyard" payoff package - Garrison Excavator, Ark of Hunger, Spirit Mascot, Living History, and Quintorius, History Chaser - turning every death and every reanimation into tokens, pings, and +1/+1 counters. The deck wins through wide Spirit-token combat, leveraging Hofri's anthem (trample + haste) and Quintorius, History Chaser's -4 double-strike mode to close out. Excava, the Risen Past functions as a hidden second commander, providing repeatable low-cost recursion. It is a fair, grindy value deck with no infinite combos, relying on incremental advantage and combat inevitability.
