Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Teval, Arbiter of Virtue, a commander that grants universal delve to every spell cast from hand while leveraging a 6/6 flying lifelink frame to offset life-loss triggers. The deck accelerates through the opening turns with efficient mana ramp and aggressive self-mill from cards like Hedron Crab, Hermit Druid, and Perpetual Timepiece. Once the graveyard is primed, Teval, Arbiter of Virtue enables the casting of massive game-ending spells such as Living Death, Rise of the Dark Realms, Ultimecia, Temporal Threat, and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger for minimal colored mana. A critical mass of reanimated threats combined with evasion from Wonder and tap-down effects from Ultimecia, Temporal Threat creates a fast, decisive Turn 6 combat finish. The deck maintains strong resilience through alternate graveyard engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Conduit of Worlds.
