Deck overview

This Sultai deck merges the fast mana generation of Elves with the instant-speed disruption and evasion of Faeries under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The early game focuses on deploying 1-drop and 2-drop mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Priest of Titania alongside passive token generators like Bitterblossom. On Turn 4, casting Maralen establishes an ongoing resource engine by exiling opposing cards on every tribal entry and casting free spells each turn. Flash enablers such as High Fae Trickster and Leyline of Anticipation allow the deck to deploy creatures on opponents' turns to trigger Maralen repeatedly. Defensive staples like Heroic Intervention and Selfless Safewright shield the board from mass removal, while countermagic disrupts key opposing plays. The primary win condition converts wide token swarms into lethal combat damage on Turns 6 and 7 using Beastmaster Ascension, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, or asymmetric resets like Kindred Dominance.
