Dwarves

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros Dwarf-token deck rather than a Voltron deck. The goal is to turn on the Storied mechanic early - three artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas - then have Bifur and Fili mass-produce 2/2 Dwarf tokens while Equipment and legendaries keep the threshold active. The Arkenstone and An Unexpected Party turn the horde into a real clock, and recursion from Dusk//Dawn or The Mountain-king's Return restocks after wipes. Bifur, Melodic Rider is the hidden commander: once an enduring story is live, his doubling of Dwarf triggers is the real engine. There is no infinite combo; the deck finishes by combat, usually with a protected alpha swing.
