Deck overview

This deck is a classic go-wide Mardu Vampire tribal strategy built around Edgar Markov. Leveraging the commander's Eminence ability, every Vampire spell cast creates an additional 1/1 Vampire token, allowing the deck to construct a wide battlefield presence rapidly without overcommitting cards from hand. In the midgame, the deck leverages mass anthem effects such as Collective Inferno, Eldrazi Monument, and casting Edgar Markov himself to pump the entire board and threaten lethal combat damage. While the Eminence engine provides inherent resilience against single-target disruption, the deck operates on a casual curve with high land counts, modest ramp, and limited raw card draw.
