Deck overview

Led by Tetsuo, Imperial Champion, this Grixis deck blends Equipment Voltron and spellslinging into an aggressive, tempo-oriented engine. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns, casts Tetsuo on Turn 3, and equips high-impact weapons by Turn 4. When Tetsuo attacks while equipped, he either burns any target for damage equal to the highest mana value among attached Equipment or casts an instant or sorcery of equal or lesser cost from hand for free. High-cost cards like Excalibur, Sword of Eden (mana value 12) maximize this trigger, letting Tetsuo cast devastating spells like Chandra's Ignition or Overpowering Attack without paying mana. The deck pairs heavy commander damage with extra combats from Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Genji Glove, backed by a compact two-card infinite combo in Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host. Protection pieces like Mithril Coat, Brotherhood Regalia, and Conqueror's Flail shield combat windows, ensuring resilient and explosive execution.
