Sam's combat-step Food generation plus Peregrin Took's doubling makes Foods the primary resource; they are spent for life, cards, and damage. Frodo is the repeat-draw Ring engine, attacking after a 3-life gain. The hidden partner pair Merry/Pippin in the 99 provides artifact-triggered Soldiers and a four-Food overrun as an alternate combat finish. Secondary paths are big Exsanguinate/X-spell finishes and huge Feasting Hobbit/Treebeard attacks. The deck is a midrange engine that wins incrementally rather than by combo.
