Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger strategy commanded by Anhelo, the Painter, designed to copy large, game-warping instant and sorcery spells. The early game establishes mana development and deploys resilient 2-power creatures like Bloodghast, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Bloodsoaked Champion to act as repeatable casualty fodder. Once Anhelo is online, the deck shifts from copying mid-sized card draw and removal spells into casting explosive high-mana payoffs like Breach the Multiverse, Prisoner's Dilemma, and Mnemonic Deluge. These copied bombs create overwhelming board states or deal massive asymmetric damage. The deck generates exceptional card flow through magecraft triggers and doubled card selection, but trades stack-based countermagic for raw permanent removal and high-impact spell resolution.
