Commander: Zurgo Helmsmasher

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Zurgo Helmsmasher is a Mardu voltron deck built to suit the commander with Equipment, give him double strike and evasion, and convert one combat into a three-player kill. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar is the hidden commander: it spreads Zurgo's damage to every opponent, so a 14-point double-strike hit becomes 28 to each other player when Twinflame Tyrant or Gisela is on board. Aurelia and Raiyuu provide extra combats as a second path. The deck also carries a Worldslayer lock with Zurgo's on-turn indestructible and a Dark Depths/Vampire Hexmage Marit Lage backup. Protection spells and indestructible-granting Equipment keep Zurgo alive through the setup and the finishing swing.
