Deck overview

Helmed by Rocco, Street Chef, this Naya list is a Food/token/+1/+1-counter value engine built around playing cards from exile. Each end step the commander exiles a card for every player, and whenever anyone - including an opponent - plays a land or spell from exile, you get a Food and a counter. The deck compounds those triggers with Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, Exalted Sunborn, and Baylen, the Haymaker, then converts the resulting board into mana (Jaheira, Friend of the Forest), draw (Bennie Bracks, Zoologist), and reach (Ragost, Deft Gastronaut). A suite of symmetrical mana engines - Magus of the Vineyard, Shizuko, Caller of Autumn, Mana Flare, Heartbeat of Spring - launches haymaker turns with Over the Top, Brass's Bounty, and Escape to the Wilds. Wins come from massive tramplers (Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Feasting Hobbit), the Felidar Sovereign lifegain trigger, Hellkite Tyrant artifact control, or the Food/Clue/Treasure loop assembled from Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, Academy Manufactor, and Peregrin Took. The second Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer in the 99 acts as a hidden commander-style tutor for any of these finishers.
