Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis sacrifice-recursion value engine built around Marchesa, the Black Rose's dethrone ability. The game plan is to put +1/+1 counters on your creatures by attacking the life leader, sacrifice them for mana, cards, and drain, and have Marchesa return them at the next end step - a loop that generates advantage every single turn. Three win channels ride on that engine: table-wide drain loops from Kokusho, the Evening Star, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Flayer of the Hatebound, and Mayhem Devil; permanent theft through Zealous Conscripts, Agent of Treachery, Reins of Power, and Mob Rule; and a mass-reanimation Living Death wave that can end the game in one shot. An eleven-card sacrifice-outlet package (Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, Ashnod's Altar, Altar of Dementia, Goblin Bombardment) plus Skullclamp and Midnight Reaper keeps the engine fed. There are no infinite combos - this deck wins by attrition, inevitability, and grinding every opponent's resources to dust.
