Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact strategy centered on Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. During the early turns, Tony Stark acts as a reliable filter engine, digging four cards deep each turn to load the hand with powerful artifacts and equipment. Once six mana is available on Turn 5, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, an evasive 5/5 with flying and haste. At the beginning of combat, his ability cheats an artifact directly onto the battlefield, automatically equipping gear like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Aettir and Priwen, or Hulkbuster Armor without paying mana or equip costs. This creates an immediate, high-powered aerial threat that rapidly knocks opponents out via commander damage over two to three attack cycles. The deck also includes an infinite combat combo with Combat Celebrant and Helm of the Host, alongside flexible artifact recursion and countermagic to protect its board.
