An Immortal's Greed by DataPriest

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic Grixis discard and draw engine helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary game plan revolves around triggering "The Ring tempts you" mechanic as frequently as possible to leverage Sauron's ability to discard your hand and draw four cards. By utilizing a dense package of 9x Nazg l and other Ring enablers, the deck consistently fuels massive card advantage. It wins by converting this card flow into overwhelming value through payoffs like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse for life drain, The Locust God for flying swarms, or Archfiend of Ifnir to decimate opposing boards. The inclusion of graveyard-centric Incarnations like Wonder and Filth ensures that the massive Nazg l and Army tokens can easily bypass blockers for lethal combat damage.
