Deck overview

Bugenhagen, Wise Elder leads a quintessential Mono-Green Big Mana Stompy deck focused on extreme mana acceleration, massive creatures, and overwhelming card draw. The deck's primary game plan utilizes Bugenhagen on Turn 2 as a mana dork to bridge directly into heavy four-mana ramp sorceries on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the deck commands six to seven mana, deploying resilient high-power threats like Vaultborn Tyrant, Kogla, the Titan Ape, and Titan of Industry. These behemoths turn on Bugenhagen's upkeep card draw while triggering potent draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. Between Turns 5 and 7, the deck closes the game with decisive combat enablers, cascading leviathans like Apex Devastator, and power multipliers such as Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. Backed by low-cost protection spells like Heroic Intervention and targeted removal on legs, the deck presents an explosive, resilient clock.
