Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Superfriends and Polymorph control deck commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary strategy leverages early artifact acceleration to deploy cheap token producers like Oath of Gideon, Lingering Souls, and Empower enchantments. On turns 4 to 5, the commander enters and uses its minus 3 ability to exile a token, polymorphing it into game-warping threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Hullbreaker Horror, Serra's Emissary, or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Alternatively, the deck accumulates loyalty across numerous Jace planeswalkers to trigger devastating ultimates, notably Jace, Reality Sculptor's library exile ability. A robust suite of low-cost countermagic, exile removal, and proactive attack taxes like Sphere of Safety and Deification keeps the board locked down while closing the game via combat damage or mill.
