Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact combo and stax engine commanded by Arcum Dagsson. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap 0–2 CMC artifact creature fodder such as Ornithopter, Phyrexian Walker, and Myr Sire during early turns, accelerating into Arcum Dagsson. Once active, Arcum sacrifices artifact creatures to cheat powerful noncreature artifacts directly onto the battlefield. The main win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Basalt Monolith and Rings of Brighthearth, generating infinite colorless mana. This mana fuels Retrofitter Foundry and Skullclamp to draw the entire deck and cast a lethal Walking Ballista for an instant same-turn table elimination. When combo lines are contested, Arcum pivots into oppressive stax pieces like Portal to Phyrexia and God-Pharaoh's Statue to severely tax and deplete opponent resources. The deck features dependable artifact tutoring, proactive shielding, and robust fallback loops.
