Bracket 4 Package by TheMule

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck blends reanimator, token aristocrats, and a compact draw-based combo. Sauron, the Dark Lord acts as a ward-protected draw engine: amassing Orcs, tempting the Ring, and converting hand-discard into four-card draws that fill the graveyard for Reanimate/Animate Dead/Living Death. The main finish is The Locust God plus Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards, where any draw spell creates an arbitrarily large swarm of hasty Insects; Impact Tremors, Purphoros, Goblin Bombardment, or combat then closes the game. Backup plans include Razaketh tutoring, Grave Pact/Dictate sacrifice control, and Cabal Coffers/Urborg for a big Torment of Hailfire. Eight counterspells and free interaction keep the combo protected while tutors assemble it.
