Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Xyris, the Writhing Storm to convert forced card draw and wheel effects into an overwhelming army of 1/1 Snake creature tokens. The game plan focuses on deploying two-mana ramp on Turn 2 to reliably cast Xyris on Turn 4. On Turn 5, resolving a wheel spell like Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune, or Reforge the Soul generates 21 Snake tokens simultaneously while drawing seven new cards. These wide boards are rapidly converted into a table kill on Turn 6 using potent team pump spells like Craterhoof Behemoth, Shared Animosity, and Beastmaster Ascension, or immediate burn via Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors. The deck generates immense card advantage and board presence, but it gives opponents extra cards through symmetric draw and requires careful protection against board sweepers.
