Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Midrange strategy commanded by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, focusing on Phyrexian poison counters, proliferation engines, and planeswalker value. The primary route to victory bypasses traditional 40-life combat totals by distributing initial poison counters to all opponents using low-cost creatures and spells such as Venerated Rotpriest, Blightbelly Rat, Prologue to Phyresis, and Ichor Rats. Once poisoned, opponents face an escalating clock as Atraxa, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Evolution Sage, and Inexorable Tide rapidly proliferate those counters to 10. The deck supports this attrition plan with high-tier removal including Swords to Plowshares, Assassin's Trophy, and Farewell, alongside planeswalkers like Oko, Thief of Crowns, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. While lacking fast mana and instant-speed combo finishes, the deck offers exceptional inevitability and simultaneous table-wide elimination.
