Xenagos, God of Revels by AbleNight33

Format: Commander

Commander: Xenagos, God of Revels

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Xenagos, God of Revels leads a Dragon-ramp beatdown deck. The primary plan is to spend the first turns on mana dorks and cost reducers, cast Xenagos, then use his beginning-of-combat trigger to make one Dragon enormous and hasty before each swing. Attack-trigger Dragons such as Savage Ventmaw, Klauth, and Old Gnawbone create waves of mana/treasures, letting the deck chain extra combat spells and additional Dragons. Secondary paths are power/damage multiplication (Atarka, Thrakkus, Twinflame Tyrant, Unnatural Growth) and incidental direct damage from Scourge of Valkas/Terror of the Peaks. Xenagos is a force multiplier rather than an engine; there is no hidden commander, and only the single-faced Xenagos is used.
