Kamiz Tempo (duplicated from Jess) by Muddy

Format: Commander

Commander: Kamiz, Obscura Oculus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper combat deck is helmed by Kamiz, Obscura Oculus, whose attack trigger makes one attacker unblockable and connive while granting double strike to a lesser-power creature. The deck is packed with evasive creatures that draw on combat damage - Psychic Frog, Thieving Otter, Soulknife Spy, Shadowmage Infiltrator - and second-draw payoffs like Alandra, Sky Dreamer and Ethereal Investigator that convert the connive-fueled card flow into tokens and counters. Connive discard synergies with Scrounging Skyray and Archfiend of Ifnir grow the board while shrinking opponents'. The deck wins through incremental combat and commander damage, backed by a dense instant-speed interaction suite. It runs no infinite combos and no fast mana; it grinds out value and tempo through the mid-game.
