Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Pirate tribal reanimator strategy commanded by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable. The primary game plan accelerates early mana through artifacts and Treasure-generating Pirates, stocking the graveyard through self-mill, looting, and discard effects. On Turn 4, Admiral Brass enters the battlefield, immediately reviving high-impact Pirates as 4/4 creatures with haste. To bypass the exile drawback of finality counters, the list incorporates specialized counter-removal engines like Hex Parasite, Power Conduit, and Soul Diviner. Lethal pressure peaks on Turn 5 using damage doublers like Angrath's Marauders, extra combat steps via Port Razer, or massive anthem scaling from Shared Animosity. In addition to wide combat damage, the deck packs an efficient two-card infinite combo between Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer to close out games during combat.
