Deck overview

This Naya Voltron deck is commanded by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, focusing on aggressively suiting up the commander with high-impact Equipment to eliminate opponents through rapid commander damage. By leveraging Cloud's enter-the-battlefield ability to attach an Equipment without paying equip costs, the deck bypasses steep equip activation costs on cards like Colossus Hammer and Ultima Weapon. Cloud's native haste enables immediate attacks on Turn 4, triggering card draw and Treasure generation whenever his power reaches 7 or higher. A dedicated suite of Equipment tutors, including Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift, provides high consistency in assembling key pieces. The strategy is shielded by efficient phase-out spells and targeted hexproof or indestructible effects, while alternate beaters like Tifa, Martial Artist and Bronze Guardian carry Equipment if Cloud is temporarily unavailable.
