Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck leverages Shao Jun to turn cheap noncreature spells into lethal burn damage. The strategy deploys low-cost token generators such as Third Path Iconoclast and Storm-Kiln Artist alongside redundant burn engines like Reckless Fireweaver and Firebrand Archer. By chaining 1-mana cantrips, the deck floods the battlefield with artifact tokens and Treasures. Shao Jun converts every pair of untapped artifacts into direct table-wide damage without tapping herself or paying mana. With force multipliers like Veyran, Voice of Duality and Zada, Hedron Grinder, the deck can cycle through large portions of its library in a single burst turn, dealing decisive damage while holding up efficient countermagic to protect its key pieces.
