Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Wizard-tribal spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, whose combat trigger free-casts an instant or sorcery with mana value up to twice your legendary Wizard count. The deck floods the board with legendary Wizards - Kykar, Wind's Fury, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Kaza, Roil Chaser, Azami, Lady of Scrolls - to scale Gandalf's X into the range where he chains extra turns and game-ending spells for free. Primary wins are the extra-turn loop (Time Warp, Temporal Manipulation, Nexus of Fate, Expropriate) into Approach of the Second Sun, plus a Wizard-lord combat beatdown through Adeliz, the Cinder Wind, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, and Jeskai Ascendancy. Backup combo lines include Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame and Naru Meha, Master Wizard + copy spells, all living entirely in the 99.
