Deck overview

This is a midrange Azorius lifegain deck helmed by Will, Scion of Peace. The plan is to stack life totals quickly, tap Will as a sorcery to convert that life into massive cost reduction on white and blue spells, and then dump otherwise-unpayable haymakers. Primary wins are a life-total Storm Herd army, Angel of Destiny's end-step elimination clause, Aetherflux Reservoir activations, and oversized combat via Soul of Eternity, True Conviction, and angel/token anthems. Will is a powerful enabler rather than a combo piece: the 99 still gains life and deploys threats without him, but the expensive X-spells and 6-8 CMC bombs become far harder to cast on curve. The deck plays a patient value game-pillowfort-tinged lifegain into a single explosive turn-rather than tight infinite combos or fast stax.
