Racoons pt. 2 by threnaria

Format: Commander

Commander: Muerra, Trash Tactician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Muerra, Trash Tactician leads a Gruul Raccoon-stompy deck that turns small tribal creatures into mana and cards. The commander is a first-main-phase mana battery, and the expend 8 trigger provides card advantage. The primary finish is a wide board plus an overrun; End-Raze Forerunners, Overwhelming Stampede, Preposterous Proportions, and Blossoming Bogbeast close games. Anzrag, the Quake-Mole is a hidden extra-combat finisher, while Etali, Primal Storm supplies free spells. Food/treasure engines in Peregrin Took and Tireless Provisioner smooth the midgame, and Insurrection is a late-game alternate win. Interaction is flexible but thin on counterspells.
